80 Gig HD
i bought it at the beginning of November.
you're better off selling it on ebay
i know it was in gest
I don't know what I'm going to do with my PB. I'm definitely interested in a MB/P but I'm going to hold off for at least a month or two and sleep on it.
i know. i'm waiting for the apple store to get them so i can run some apps on it that aren't universal and see how well they perform using rosetta stone.
I was watching 1080p HP content on one today, it ran great, without skipping a beat.
Only flaw that I saw was that they were HOT. Keyboard was extremely warm to the touch. One apple employee said it was from all the lights (riiiight....) and another said it was because these were still pre-production machines and they still ahve some things to work out.
you at teh event? did they say when they'd be at stores for us to play with?
my friend has one also that he's having problems with. i told him to call up apple and bitch and see about replacing it with a macbook
I'm interested to see what Rosetta performance is like, how easy it is to load and run WinXP/WinVista for dual boot purposes (i.e. if I'm going to drop this kind of cash on another Mac its going to mean I'm not upgrading my desktop PC) and wait a few months to see if the MacTel Mini comes out (because I'd really like one for a media center PC).
I skipped school today and went to the event. Apple store ships them in febuary, and an assistant store manager told me today he would be getting some a little early.
