it's probably got a power brick, and the PSU is integrated into the board.

i had a via 1.2ghz for a carpc before someone stole it. Bought the 2ghz version to replace it but lost interest in the project.

I should test it to see how it handles HD media and then try to sell it or something

don't see why you couldn't mod it, but for the price of a slim, slot loading sata BD-ROM, it's not worth it.

edit: now finding slim sata BD writers on ebay for about $150 with shipping, that's not too bad.
