I squat medium stance, so I assume that both movements heavily work the same muscles, so why would my DL be 455, while my squat is seemingly stuck at 365, where it has been for some time (wrapped is same as raw :ugh: ). I have tried working more deep squats, though nowhere near enough box work, and do surpamaximal work for both lifts (rack pulls + walk-outs). Could it just be my goofy ourangatan limbs are helping me on DL (80ish" wingspan @ 74") and screwing me on squat & bench? I've looked over the ousy levrages articles and done what they reccomend, but I would really like to get some other opinions. :hsd:

Yeah that confused me also. Not like it matters too much but who's wraps are you using? How do you wrap? Are you wrapping tight or like a pussy? If you aren't wincing they aren't tight enough.

I probably just havent done enough 1RM attempts honestly, I only started wrapping lately. I do them as tight as possible, but since i do it myself, im a bit fatigued by the time i get them on. Also, I thought the wider you are, the less the carryover. I'm pretty sure I'm getting something out of them because unwrapped, i generally have problems in the hole, wrapped I have dumped it 6-8" up.

Deadlift is usually going to be higher than squat. You use more and a few different muscles.
