Windows Server 2003 & Multithreading

    So here's the scenario. You have an extremely busy file server in a large company. It does no other processes/applications except that. It has 2 CPUs. The processing load is being split about 80/20.

    The question is then this.. Is Windows Server 2003's processes, or the system process specifically, multi-thread capable? If not, the results make sense. If it IS multi-thread capable, the CPU loads should be even.

    The CPU loads should be even anyway, because the System process is just as likely to be stuck into CPU #2 as CPU #1 when it needs to do its thing. Something is restricting which CPU one or more of the processes can use.
