I know alot of you drink. Anyone enjoy cigars?
I enjoy a cigar or two throughout the week. Usually with a rum and coke or a screw driver.
I get mine "imported".
I can't wait for warmer weather. Trying to ash through a car window at 10 degrees is not fun. Heres to hoping warmer weather gets here soon so I can sit on the back porch with my laptop and Cigar.
I have a few "imported" ones.
I enjoy a nice afternoon drive with a cigar from time to time
Dark Knight is my brand. It'll put hair on your chest...
Also like Acid brand Kuba Kubas, Antonio and Cleopatra, and Maker's Mark
I used to smoke alot, but it got expensive, so I phased in pipe smoking mostly. cigars are now an occassional treat
I like Cabaiguan. I was looking for the Macanudo Gold Label and the cigar shop was all out so they suggested at the Cabaiguan. I love it.
Cigar crew member here.
Just had a Fuente Hemingway Maduro the other night.
I'm a big Rocky Patel fan. I guess technically all of my cigars are imported, since they come from Honduras and Nicaragua. For the most part the best cigars no longer come from Cuba because of the effects of Communism and the advancement in farming tobacco in other places.
As far as ashing in a car goes, I can't do it in nice weather. It always seems to make the cigar burn too hot and it affects the taste.
Cigars seem to suffer from the terribly inflated price that wine does so I don't smoke many cigars. They also usually take far longer to smoke than I care to spend smoking but I do pick up a $5 maduro a couple times a year.
I would love to go to Cigar fest some day. When i get the chance i love a nice Onyx
Cigar crew here. I'm smoking one right now actually.
That's why for me it's a once or twice a week thing, usually while reading for school. I don't have the time to smoke once a day, and I couldn't imagine smoking two or more cigars a day.
Set it down and relight later?
it's one of those kind of things that you can do while doing something else. if it weren't for the cost, and the fact that you can't smoke indoors anywhere, I would do it while at work, or reading a book or watching t.v, or while writing, or heck, even preparing dinner!
Yum yum. I don't smoke cigars often but I always enjoy them when I do.
Also, someone should recommend some good, but reasonably priced brands.
like wine, "good" is really a matter of opinoin
those "scales" that people put out are pretty arbitrary.
try something, if you like it, save the wrapper. if you hate it, save the wrapper, so you know what to avoid! (you may want to save the wrappers in different places...)
I had a Rocky Patel in my humidor but it got moldy so I had to toss it. I still have yet been able to try one. My dad gave me an old box and I brought it back to life and got some of his old cigars which messed up some of my fresh ones. So I tossed everything I had, which wasn't a lot thank god, got a new humidor for Christmas and started fresh.
So I'll pick up another Rocky Patel and give it a try.
Tampa Sweethearts 500 maduro.
Rocky Patel Connecticut is my go to cigar. They always burn evenly, produce plenty of smoke, and have a mild, but not bland, taste.
Black and Milds anyone?
We are talking cigars here, not how you like your women.
He didn't say sassy!
