do u workout every day (lift weights, bench press, etc). or do u have breaks?
Depends on volume. If your volume is low enough you can work out every day. Otherwise you need to allow your muscles more time to recover between workouts.
You could throw some cardio in so you're not doing weights everyday.
I do weights on Mon/Wed/Fri and cardio Mon-Sat.
only go 3 times a week for me...
thats cause working out for you brings home the bacon.
Not really, actually . I worked out 7 days per week even before. At timers less and at other times, even more.
I break it up... cardio/core everyday, lifting on M W F.
was doing a push/pull split, 4 days a week, but now i'm switching back to full body 3x/week.
mon, tues, thurs, fri
Mon Wed Fri Sat morning. During off days, do shoulder rehab mixed with core and light cardio.
i find that really odd, since everyone everywhere tells you to do 3-5 days a week.
I came in here to post that
mon - chest / back
tuesday - shoulders / arms
wed - legs / lower back
thur chest / back
friday shoulders / arms
sat - legs
sunday: speed squat
tuesday: speed bench
thursday: max effort squat/deadlift
saturday: max effort bench
I guess in a way it's probably smartest for really strong dudes to combine squats and DL on the same day, that way you have 6 days to let your lower back recover.... but doesn't that wear you the hell out christopers? Also my DLs are a shitton weaker after doing squats and my vice versa. Do you switch the order every week?
yeah... I'd say a raw lifter would benefit more from repetition work and more focus on shoulders (military, push press)... not so much a traditional speed bench day
