I think having a white beast would be fun.
Personally I like how the white 70-200 looks. If I couldve found one I wouldve gotten it in white instead.
Yes. Minus whale /yourself.
u still coming to get those filters this week?
Answer my mamiya 7 questions?
What questions? I haven't even had a chance to use it yet. I've been working 60 hour weeks lately and taking 6 classes. FML
I asked in your mamiya thread, don't wanna retype on iPhone
I has one.
aren't all white 70-200 grey market?
I hate you. Looks so damn spiffy
I think there was a limited run in the US, it was very limited though and they're hard to find.
a wise friend of mine once said... canon white lenses are a billboard that scream "steal me"
why would you want them in white for nikon when they come in black?
when in the sun the black lenses can get extremely hot. As far as I know this is canon's main justification for the white lens
thats marketing bs, the main reason is that they look cool.
In all seriousness. This is true. Who gives a fuck what color or how special something is. Get out there and shoot. Stop worrying about things that don't matter.
i meant more who gives a fuck about what acab buys, but whatever.
Thats me :wiggle wiggle:
I was shooting in 108* sunny day for polo, and well... no heat issues with that big black 600 of mine. Maybe in a safari, but even so, I don't really buy it. The coating disipates the heat on the lens and the rubber is black anyways and that is the only thing I felt really get warm.
in vegas, i shot an outdoor motorsports event that was at 114 degrees at the paddock, even hotter in the pits and i was shooting in the middle of the track where it was even hotter. Lens does get noticeably hotter than canon's IMHO. the white 70-200 looks soooo sexy!!
Nikon giving their customers the confidence as if they are using Canon lol.
