Chime in motherfuckers.
05 STG 2 STi.
you'll find more @ www.nasioc.com/forums
Does it count if I have a WRX w/ a STi motor in it? If so, consider me chiming in as well...
I'll post all my mods later if you like.
why is it a little "i"? i thought acronyms were supposed to use all caps, like "STI"
They do that to feel special.
Actually, prior to 2006 (I think) Subaru STi's were spelled like that. Since that time, however, they have changed it to all caps. As far as I can tell, they were going off the idea of the words "Subaru" and "Technica" being more important than the word "international" hence the upper-upper-lower case abbreviations.

Nice to see you all. But I have to say FUCK nasioc. Bunch of rude fucks over there. I refer to it as NAZICOCK.
you must have wondered into their off-topic section.... I have a lot of friends over there and I don't see it the way you describe. You must have posted something stupid or posted something stupid without searching to come up with that conclusion...
best sti community is www.iwsti.com
Soon to be stage 2.
Is it still the 5spd? Stock suspension? Probably so no.
dont forget dccd...
Nope, it is a built automatic (getting pulled in favor of powerglide & 8.8" rear end this winter) and has a Tein suspension.
wtf is stage 2? "stages" are gay as fuck.
i don't even belong in this thread. the only sti i like is the '08, and i still hate the h4 engine, lol.
04 Sti here!
8.8 IRS? That is a killer good axle(put one in the rear of my Jeep) but changing from the stock IRS to a solid one would be kinda dumb.
Well lets see, Accessport Tuner stage 2 map(hence the name) upload, exhaust. Stage 2.
I think what Vicious-S was saying is that stage 2 means almost nothing since everyone has a different variation of a stage 2 kit...
Sorry man, far from it. Its more a community of people who have never owned a subaru before, have now owned one for less than a year, and think they know everything there is to know about them( obviously this isnt everyone there, Im not saying there arent a couple well experienced nice guys there, but by and large, this isnt the norm), and will argue till then end that you are wrong, even though you may or may not have direct experience on the subject they are asking about. One of them (that knows nothing) says something, they all take it as gospel, then when someone who knows something contradicts them, they all jump all over them. I know of at LEAST 10 people, including 2 people who were moderators there, that have given up on the board and went back to Nasioc where, although there ARE a lot of idiots, but there are 500 times more guys who DO know what they are talking about.
Seriously you could fit the cumulative Subaru knowledge level of the entire member base into a thimble with the exception of 3-4 guys. Otherwise its a bunch of people who know next to nothing about Subarus, that doesnt make them bad, it just makes the usefullness of the community, well, not quite as useful.
You also have to realize, that over half the people there that refuse to go to nasioc because of "all the jerks and idiots", have never been on nasioc for more than 2-3 min, some of them not at all.
Or, and I know of 4-5 cases of this, they came to nasioc, pulled their same know it all attitude, got way over defensive if someone told them the answer they didnt want to hear "no, you cant run the stock turbo at 30PSI and not run into problems, I dont care if you are an engineer and worked it out on paper, it simply wont work" <that kind of thing, so they lashed out and cried. Which of course they had a bad experience then, what did they expect. You get out of Nasioc exactly what you put into it. I have never in the 5+ years I have been there seen or heard of someone who was genuinely cool and nice EVER have problems. Its the trouble makers, whiners, and people with attitude problems that run into issues.
There are TONS of STi owners, why has that board never truely taken off? Because of the behaviour that is allowed, no, encouraged there. It will never become what it SHOULD have become.
Not to mention that of the 4 big tuning companies, stage 2 means 4 different things.

20G or Green
See what we are saying?
And that's just off the top of my head
Cobb is not the only tuner out there, far from it, and they were the last to have "staged" packages. TurboXS and Vishnu were doing stages YEARS before Cobb.
