they already have the house and maybe the senate.
buying assault weapons bans?
ya somethin like that
I'm sorry I do not buy into AWBs
Time might be coming to apply for some credit cards.
good time to unload some of my AR's.
I been debating on selling all but 1 complete rifle for some time and now that it'll be a sellers market why not
legislation will take a while. How do yall think an AWB would affect prices? i.e. what do you think will happen to prices of assault rifles right before a law goes into place
Atleast we have the kit builds. As long as we keep silent about them maybe the lawmakers wont catch on very quickly and theyll fail to get rid of that loophole.
Again, you can always say you made it last year as you dont have to mark the receiver
If it makes its way along very far, I will order atleast a dozen flats
no where but up.
It would all depend on the type of ban, if it were to mirror the old one everything would go up 25%+ that fell into the ban guidelines, something more drastic who knows. It would probably take atleast 9 months or so untill they could have one ready to go into effect.
Demand will go up, they wont be able to keep up with production to meet the skyrocketing demands, then they just sell to highest bidder so to speak.
not rly. there are already .50 cal bans and awbs floating around in congress. google thomas library of congress. search it for firearms. be amazed.
The only reason I bought an AR was because of November being a few months away. Good thing I went with my gut feeling and bought one.
Maybe Ill get a .50bmg next time round the ban is lifted.
If it will ever get lifted
Il voted today for a state ban on fitty's don't know if it passed or not.
How the hell did I not know of this?
saw a thread earlier on arfcom about it.
i know what i'll be doing between now and summer.
you've got two years...
Why you say that? Think Bush wouldn't sign it? He said he would sign the bill to renew the old one if it made it to his desk. Shit only thing he's ever veto'd was the stem cell thing.
Only thing stopping it getting to his desk was the fact that the good guys had control of congress. Now its a cleared trail right to the desk of the oval office.
Oh, and the demos also are against stem cell research, and I just found out that the niece to a woman I work with was only supposed to live until a few months old is now still alive a couple years later thanks to stem cells
Also, just found out that the ban in IL was not only for .50 rifles, but also the manufacturing of any military assault styled rifles. Looks like one of you is gonna have RRA comin your way to set up
Isn't the old '94 ban still on the books and just not in effect? I would think it wouldn't take much work to atleast reinstate that one.
