tell me yer woes
site crawls - bandwidth problem? database? wazzup?
looks fine except that is a hell of a lot of ram being used. looking like the database
who knows this box?
The RAM is always about that high and the CPUs are barely being used. I would guess it could use a reboot and some extra bandwidth.
looks fine? are you crazy? look at the load averages...
that in combination with the ram being hammered
I always thought with 4 CPUs that 100% load would be 4.00.
hmm, i thought it did the math, but i could be wrong
No. The load average it not a number that is directly related to sum of the percentage of total CPU utilization.
Depending on the flavor of UNIX, it's dependent on number of active processes, number of active process in the run queue, and some other stuff I don't understand based over time, 1, 5, 15 minutes. The number is calcuated with some funky methodology.
Those load averages are BELOW the norm for OT. RAM is below normal too. It is usualy at about 100%. Which makes me think that the problem is elsewhere.
I am pretty sure the database is on a sperate machines, that we don't even see the stats for. So who knows what could be going on with them.
if it was linux i would agree
Looks like a reindex of the DB fixed it.
you beat me to it
Look at that bandwidth used.
Where did you see that at?
it was slow - they shut the site down to reindex until 12:30 CST and it was fast again
When the board was shutdown it said something to the effect of:
Reindexing this gayness, check back at 11:30
