Automation is fucking K E Y.
that is all.
ive been trying to automate everything lately.. set it and forget it FTW
I learned yesterday that yahoo small business hosting is a piece of shit
API's are my new best friend
More like ftw.
what do you think i used all those monitors for lol
Automation and the system!
To show off on the internet?
Automation is something I don't need any monitors for.
.. insert comment re: size of thomor's head/ego?
I kid I kid..
How many do you have?
Yeah I'd like to see you have macros running posting ads and keep track of 20 servers on one screen. At a quick glance look over and see if any had messed up instead of cycling through a kvm.
I'd write scripts to track performance and generate reports for me. Then SMS on failure if need be.
I personally don't feel the need to justify having hundreds of monitors for something that can be done with one.
Yea, but do you have an automatic kitty litter box? Didn't think so.
definitely saves me a TON of time. I don't even check the logs/reports anymore. It just runs.
So what are some tools you all use? I automate certain things with API's to various sites. but the middle work i am still doing on these new sites. I have VA's i outsource work to but that is expensive after ahwhile. I could use imacros if it were simple easy stuff but it isnt.
What are you all using to automate certain things?
I wrote a program that scrapes my competitors websites, grabs their prices, compares it with my prices, and adjusts my price based on the target profit I have set.
so to answer your question, my own program written in perl running on linux.
I do, actually.
very cool, a new site a acquired has like 6-7 scripts that were hand written to semi automate things. Problem is i have not figured them out but i want to get a UI made for them so they are even further hands off. Would help if i could write code and not just read it.
fuuuuuuuuu i need to step my game up
07; do you know how to properly use PRstorm?
