He's pulling against bands too.
they look like 45's, but he is pulling against multiple bands
jesus tits, dats one fast nigga
er, shouldnt speed work be, well, maaaybe more than 1?
isnt the point to help build endurance?
no its to build speed. speed pulls are generally for singles.
no, speed = power
then why is CP speedwork sets of 3? with tiny rest periods?
ah, yes, danielsan
"Speed is also essential to high quality lifting performance. Speed is derived form strength. The greater the strength possessed the easier it is to overcome a resistance and apply speed. Consequently the coach has to incorporate exercises which are closely related to the classical lifts into each program. These exercises should be performed with loads between 70% - 85 % of 1RM executed using maximum speed for 3 - 6 repetitions between 6 - 12 sets."
shut up Leo
speed pulls are generally singles, with the occassional doubles - especially for the fact that speed pulls aren't normally the main lift of a DESDL day
thanks for the help douche.
i asked a legit question. give me a real answer.
i can only assume that desdl has something to do with dynamic squats and dl's too.
You mean Westside. Louie calculated average time under tension for 1 rep maximums, which is why they use 3 reps for speed bench and 2 reps for speed squats, to approximate the same TUT. They don't really follow 45 second rest periods anyhow.
thank you ceaze..
can you help me with this then?
i did speed box squats after dl today.
i did 10 sets of 3, with enough rest for my partner to get his set in (10-15secs). is this ok? should i go heavier and work sets of 2?
If you can keep the same speed at a heavier weight go for it. Remember weight isnt the goal, explosive speed is.
lol what a fat idiot
Post up some pics of yourself and numbers fuck head!
I'm all about banning some trolls tonight, wanna keep posting?
no but what is that man doing
