stupid name i know, but i've been reading about it and some of it makes sense.
My opinion is that it's a pretty large cult, but it has some good ideas.
The major great point is to try to always add weight to the bar. This is even more important as a natural. In todays day and age, a lot of aspiring bodybuilders fail to attempt to add weight to each set (if they can) and keep getting stronger. The more weight you can move, especially in 8-12 reps like BB's use, the more potential for muscle growth you will have.
But there is something to be said about the fact that there are no professional bodybuilders that are known to use DC training. There are high level BB's, like Justin Harris, Steve Kuclo, etc.. but no pro's, yet anyway.
Also, a well performed rest pause set is difficult to do properly. You really, truly have to bust ass on that 1 set, because that's your only shot for that day for muscle growth, if you follow the routine to a T.
it's kind of funny because i do kind of follow the rest pause concept in most of my major lifts, where i complete do it till I fail.
I think NUDES summed it up well... but its something you should have a dedicated training partner to do. You need to be intense and a lot of people will benefit from having an intense partner with them
If your joints can handle it, it works.
I personally don't think I could handle another blast without deca in my system
Rest pause is a great way to keep intensity high, and thats what DC is all about. And widowmaker sets will make you grow a sack like you never imagined. It hurts. But, tons of people get results from it.
I personally pick and choose the things I like and incorperate them into my training (certain lifts, rest-pausing, 20 rep sets, etc.).
David Henry I believe professes to use it.
extreme stretching? lol
david henry does it, hes a pro, stil doesnt mean i think its worht a shit...but thats me
The names mentioned are also getting blocky and less symetrical every year...steves waist is getting wide and blocky
ya shit bb'ers were doing in the 80-90's....why is this his training again?
i've always heard his stretching routines were pretty beneficial
