And people are bitching about their mortgages, car payments, credit card debt, etc. and how we're in a depression necessitating an economic handout from the government

Post ban wii-motes must be made of foam. That way you cannot hurt cops by throwing it at them.

i know it may seem i'm overreacting, but something seriously needs to be done... obama should start up a special police squad, that goes to homes of regisitered wii owners... where they would give fair market price, for all wii and wii related items.

I think this was actually in New York. yeah, me and my wife and my kiddo, slept in, made ham omlettes with last nights ham and went shopping at 2pm. No one around, parked rite up front, no line to pay for our shit.

I'm good with Black Friday sales, I did 90% of my shopping on line this year. Other than that, I'm staying away from the malls this year, people die in our malls, fuck that noise. I threw my IDPA gear on, only thing missing was my plugs and glasses. lol

Damn, did you read the story? Guy got killed in NY, and the woman and baby were fine. RIF

Although I completely agree with your sentiment. It's a sad commentary on our society when materialism outweighs common decency.

This may be sort of OT but I wonder how accurate a commentary it is. Don't forget the butcher pieces we see all the time about guns. The wal-mart guy has been written up in most stories as "trampled to death." Some of the stories coming out now say he actually had a heart attack.

The TRU story has often been reported as perhaps a dispute over a product but "In a statement, Toys R Us stressed that the shooting appeared to stem from a 'personal dispute,' adding it would be 'inaccurate to associate the events of today with Black Friday.'" All of us here were already thinking we knew what the real deal probably was here already right?

How accurate are the rest of the details, how much embellishment is given? I don't really think I'm an optimist about human behavior, but I've learned to not to be too quick in assuming any news story is right.
