you like him? you don't like him?
respectable guy yes no?
his videos are great / bullshit?
i've always respected him, he's a pretty intelligent guy.
Very smart guy!! Is very cool about sharing information. Also, one big sonofabitch!!!
i like his training segments on the fit show
one of best out there, very smart, very down to earth. I can talk to him for hours just picking his brain.
reason i ask this is because i was watching one of his videos:
during his squat exercise he uses a couple of 10 lb (?) plates under his heels.
within the past several weeks i was reading a thread here on f&n.
majority of f&n said plates under your heel during squats are an absolute no no due to possible injury.
i for one don't use this method.
just wanted to know why milos trains this way but f&n would not agree to this method of squatting?
If I remember well arnold did that too.
I don't remember such a thread.
It puts more emphasis on your quads.
who the fuck are you going to believe, a bunch of 150lb nobody kids or someone who gets 350hr for his advice. Seriously, this is half the problem with this place and the internet. If milos told me to hop on one leg for better hamstrings...i would.
Well, if you have bad knees I wouldn't suggest doing it, as it will increase stress on the patellar tendon. Anything that puts more tension on the quads will.
i fully agree with milos 100% on just anything he says based on some nice gains i got on a few of his exercises.
i'm preparing for a killer leg routine for october when i head back into the gym.
it's just that there is a lot of valuable information i've learn here in f&n that were valid with studies/research to back it up and within good reasoning.
for example the pros, cons and a workaround below.
...and there were times i had my doubts about things said here in f&n.
heres his beginning bodybuilder split
i bet that bastard has people do front raises too!
It's like any "guru", take things from them for what they are worth, but at the end of the day we are all different. What works for one of us won't work for the other. It's simple genetics. People can be excellent in one area, say training, but not good in nutrition.
I have no opinion of him, never dealt with him. I've met him personally at my show, but that was it.
you thought wrong
free weight press 2x8
dumbell side lateral 1st set 12-15, second set 8-10
bent over lateral same
bb shrugs same as lateral
Milos' Chest, Arm and Shoulder routines KICK MY ASS!!!!
this is also true, well said
