Works well for us. There were times it glitched out but for the most part it works. The app layout is crap though imho. I don't like having to click around so much to go between DVR content and live TV.

But that 4K looks nice when it's available. Makes dish network look so dated
Apparently it’s a thing with Apple TV boxes. Now I wait.

4K dropping $10 tho

$4.99 for new users for 12 months too :tbow:

We will also be lowering the price of our 4K Plus add-on from $19.99/month to $9.99/month. Users new to 4K Plus are eligible for a $4.99/month for 12 months promotional offer.* For existing users, if you are on a promotional price below $10/month, you’ll enjoy that price until the promotional period is over, at which point you’ll automatically receive the new price of $9.99/month. If you’re currently paying above $9.99/month, your new price will be $9.99/month.

Agreed. Crazy how netflix can do it and provide tons and tons of content at $12 a month, but cable can't compete at $80 a month without commercials.

Fuck that. I'll either pay, or I'll watch commercials, you don't get to have your cake and eat it too.
You are comparing 2 completely different things

Netflix makes a lot of their own content, the cable companies have to go procure all their content. Also there’s a utility component there lol

yeah Netflix, Prime (although they love slipping stuff in before shows), HBOmax and Disney+ and video games don't have ads. But for some reason Cable TV cant make do with just the Ad revenue they have to charge an arm and a leg on top of that. Now an argument could be made in the past that you were paying distribution and hardware costs but that's mostly bullshit today.
Yeah, I can respect that for sure.

HBO straight up has ads that interrupt shows now on certain price tiers. I couldn't believe it.
