This is going to be interesting
Hmmm.... not sure how I feel about this. It's good to see Nintendo trying something new for a chance with an existing franchise but I have a feeling it's going to turn out shitty Not sure why though
idk it they can blend dungeons with the regular field it would make the game pretty smooth.
imagine a seamless world with no load times or anything. they're claiming it's capable for the silent hill wii so idk why they can't do it for this zelda.
good it needs a change and fuck this get weapon in dungeon hit boss 3x with said weapon shit.
But then it's not Zelda.
hey man I love that shit! I play video games to turn my brain off, not to die 40 million times trying to figure out how to kill a boss.
i have no problem with the three hit kill boss forumla...but its going to be interesting to see how they mix up the exploring aspect of the game. I really think this is a good thing and will be the first real major change to gameplay since A Link to the Past when they introduced the two world setups.
hopefully they go back to the side scroll a la Zelda 2... I always enjoyed that
we need another ocarina of time for wii. OOT2
i want big living towns like Assassin's Creed
a little more depth to the games would be cool... I like the basic game play with dungeons and variety of weapons.. but more AI stuff to work with as well as other things to do besides just kill stuff would be sweet
I like the dungeon formula and figuring out how to get through them with the items given. I hope they just make the game one big dugeon.
All we need to know is do you get the Boomerang or the Bow first. Why should nintento bother innovating at all
Every Zelda game has had tons of shit you have to collect. The mini-games alone are addicting as fuck.
It's already moving that way...idk if you played twilight princess at all but castle town was pretty lively...more so than games have been in the past i think.
I'd like to see the incorporation of MORE towns and cities though outside of the Kakariko and Castle Town. Look at the LoZ 2 and how many towns they had in that game. Even if they keep the current formula, I think it'd be a huge step in the right direction to make more towns and really flesh out the kingdom.
yeah i liked the way Twilight Princess greatly improved the castle town. more towns would be awesome, and a weather system would be awesome. one thing i never liked was that time would stand still in towns, would be great if you can see the changes of the town during the day (people going in, closing shop, etc)
That kind of sounds like Majora's Mask. I always thought the town in that game was really well made and interesting.
overhead scroller like Link to a past
Takes nothing to make sell it on the wii channel for $39.99 and fucking profit out the ass
One thing that has bothered me about the last few zelda games is that you get all these cool weapons and gadgets.... but then you only use them once or twice and then they are useless. They need to make an effort to make all of links equipment usable in some way for the entire rest of the game after you get it.
interesting I wonder what they'll do....random enemy encounters a la final fantasy style?
That would be terrible. Even FF got away from that in XII.
zelda has never been about random enemy encounters. there's no way they'd regress to that.
It's on the Wii AKA stuck in last generation. "Living Towns" etc? Not possible.
that's what twilight princess was.
